Reverend Anthony Chatman

Pastor, Christian Community Church

Rev. Anthony Chatman Sr. was born and raised in Chicago IL. He is the youngest of nine born to Hattie Chatman. Anthony recently relocated to Fort Worth Texas from DeKalb IL. in 2015 Anthony is marry LaMetra Curry-Chatman, and they have five children Phylicia, Kenneth Jr., Marquita, Hananiah, Anthony Jr., and four grandchildren.

Anthony attended and received his B.A. in psychology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb IL. Anthony was licensed in 2005 and ordained as a Baptists minister in 2013 as a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist in DeKalb IL.

In January of 2019 Anthony received full recognition of ordination and transfer of standing to the Christian Church (Disciple of Christ) from Regional Committee on Ministry in the Southwest.

His most rewarding experiences in ministry thus far have been working with the youth and young adults of the community. The young people are our future leaders and should be encouraged and prepare for tomorrow.

Rev. Chatman will receive his Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School in May of 2019. Where he served as President and member of Brite Black Seminarians.
