Lynda Tarwater

Attorney

Lynda Tarwater received her J.D. degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth in 2004.  She has been a criminal defense trial attorney for the past 8 years. 

In 2012, she opened her own practice and focuses primarily on the representation of indigent defendants.  She is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District, and the Supreme Court of the Chickasaw Nation.  She has also argued successfully before the highest criminal court in the State, is a member of the Texas State Bar College and the Texas State Bar Pro Bono College.

She is also a volunteer with Federal Medical Center at Carswell Women’s Prison and teaches a Law, Ethics & Spirituality class for Bakke Graduate University in Seattle.  She is a voting Board member of Beautiful Feet Ministries where she has volunteered for the past 11 years.
